Hyperion III is a top quality LED solar simulator equipped with an innovative LED matrix light source that matches A+A+A+ Class over 12 cm X 12 cm area and A+AA Class over 23 cm X 23 cm area. Greatcell Solar’s Solar Simulator respects the most stringent international standards (ASTM E927-05, IEC 60904-9 2007, and JIS C 8912, Spectral Match 400 – 1100nm wavelength in 100nm bandwidth increments, Non-Uniformity, and Temporal Instability). The beam intensity is 1 Sun adjustable and emission spectrum can be customised via dedicated software.

LED matrix

Hyperion III Led Matrix is equipped with 18 Led families to cover AM1.5G spectrum in very faithful manner from 390 nm to 1020 nm. Spectrum can be extended up to 350 nm - 1100 nm (option) band or customised to specific emission bands in the 350 nm – 1100 nm range.

Hyperion III driving Software and options

Hyperion III is provided with a user friendly dedicated software, capable to customise LED matrix emission spectrum starting from the default value. End user can reduce single LEDs family output (dimming range depends on LEDs type, relative driver and default value) or the entire spectrum with a 1% step or multiple of it. Each LED family can be switched off individually giving user the possibility to simulate peculiar situations, differently not obtainable with traditional simulators, if not using a very expensive filter or a combination of them. User can easily realise a personal custom spectrum repository where to save custom profiles and then load them when required.
